Shefali suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital in the hours between June 27 and June 28. However, she was declared dead on arrival. Her last rites are being held on Saturday, June 28, in Mumbai. Manmeet Singh took to his Instagram Story on Saturday to pen a heartfelt note for the late actress. He wrote, 'Rest in peace, Shef. Only god knows why he called you back so soon… Will always cherish the amazing moments spent with you… May Waheguru be with you on your onward journey." Not many are aware that Shefali Jariwala was previously married to Harmeet Singh, one-half of the famous music duo Meet Brothers. He is known for composing songs such as Main Tera Boyfriend, Baby Doll, Pink Lips, Radhe Radhe, and others. The two got married in 2004 after a short period of dating. However, the relationship quickly took a difficult turn. In a past interview, Shefali opened up about the emotional strain it caused, emphasising that violence isn't always physical and expressing that she often felt undervalued in the marriage. In one of her past interviews, Shefali spoke about how financial independence helped her make a bold choice back then. 'Because I was earning and independent, I could walk away when things got too dark," she said. Her divorce from Harmeet was finalised in 2009, marking the end of a difficult chapter in her life. Soon after, she admitted to feeling a void and lost faith in love until a beautiful new chapter knocked on her door. After a difficult divorce with Harmeet Singh, Shefali found love again with Parag Tyagi. Over time, Shefali recognised the sincerity of his love, and after nearly four years of dating, the couple married in 2014. Shefali was known for her outspoken personality and strong presence on social media. Her sudden passing has shocked fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry. Hollywood veteran Jack Betts, remembered for his iconic roles in spaghetti Westerns and as Henry Balkan in Spider-Man (2002), has died at the age of 96. According to People, his nephew Dean Sullivan confirmed that the actor passed away in his sleep on June 19 at his home in Los Osos, California. Following news of his passing, the Beverly Hills Playhouse honoured him in an emotional tribute on Instagram: 'Our beloved Jack Betts passed away peacefully at home." The heartfelt post added, 'There was only ever one like this, and we are the richer for having his presence in our theatre. Rest in peace, Jack." The 1960s saw Betts transition into international fame, particularly in Italy, where he featured in several spaghetti Westerns. Among them was Sugar Coat (1966), directed by Franco Giraldi. His theatre streak continued with a memorable three-year stint as the lead in Broadway's Dracula from 1977 onward. While many remember him from television hits like Frasier, Friends, Seinfeld, and Everybody Loves Raymond, Betts gained a new generation of fans through his brief but notable appearance alongside Willem Dafoe in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, where he played Henry Balkan, a board member of Oscorp. Later in his career, Betts appeared in shows like My Name Is Earl, Recovery Road, and Good Trouble in 2019. Believing that the film can be enjoyed with the whole family, speaking with People, Johnstone said, 'Some of my favourite horror movies, Insidious, Drag Me to Hell, are PG-13, so you can do it. It's like a gateway horror movie for parents to take their kids to. I'm a parent myself, and it sucks when you have to split the family up and figure out getting a babysitter and stuff like that just so you can go out to the movies. It's awesome when a movie can actually reach a wider audience." Johnstone said that to make it PG-13, 'there were a few things that we had to tone down for this. Some things were really hard to let go of and other things it was like, 'Oh, that actually works better when we make that cut.' So it's like a two-edged sword in a way." Meanwhile, Gemma's niece Cady, now 14, has become a teenager, rebelling against Gemma's overprotective rules. Unbeknownst to them, the underlying tech for M3GAN has been stolen and misused by a powerful defence contractor to create a military-grade weapon known as Amelia, the ultimate killer infiltration spy." As Amelia starts to think more for herself, she no longer wants to follow human commands. She even begins to question if humans should exist at all. This puts everyone in danger.
